Klonopin
Klonopin (clonazepam) is a prescription medicine that is supposed to be taken by people to whom is was prescribed. It can be used by patients diagnosed with anxiety, panic disorder or seizure disorder and works by restoring the balance of chemicals in the brain. Make sure you are not allergic to the active ingredient of this drug – clonazepam, or any other benzodiazepines, such as oxazepam, clorazepate, diazepam, lorazepam, chlordiazepoxide, or alprazolam, as you may still have an allergic reaction if you ever had one in response to the drugs mentioned. Your doctor must know as much as possible about your current health condition and whether you have any other health problems besides obesity. The following ones should be mentioned to make sure you will be prescribed the lowest dose efficient for you: breathing problems, a history of depression, kidney or liver disease, glaucoma, a history of drug or alcohol addiction, and suicidal thoughts. Klonopin has been reported to form a habit, and is therefore not supposed to be taken by people to whom it was not prescribed to avoid unwanted health effects. Klonopin may be habit-forming and should be used only by the person it was prescribed for. Klonopin should never be shared with another person, especially someone who has a history of drug abuse or addiction. Keep the medication in a secure place where others cannot get to it. Make sure you always take this medicine exactly as prescribed, as otherwise your treatment may not be as efficient as it could be. If you happened to miss a dose of Klonopin – take it as soon as possible unless it’s time for another one. If that is the case, the dose missed is supposed to be skipped, as otherwise you may take too much of Klonopin at once and will get unpleasant side effects. Always store this medication in some place where it will not be accessed by other people to whom it was not prescribed. You must never take more of this medicine than recommended by the doctor that prescribed it to you, as your dose is based on the health conditions you have and other drugs you are taking. It’s very important that you observe the dose recommended and void taking more of Klonopin than necessary, as overdose symptoms – such as tremors, vomiting, unusual thoughts, muscle cramps, stomach pain, insomnia, and sweating – are possible. These symptoms are supposed to be reported to the local emergency center as soon as possible to prevent the situation from getting worse.
